Cape Breton Videos

July - August 2019

We visited Highland Village during the Donald Og Day events so they had the carding mill up and running. It’s amazing to watch this antique equipment in action as it processes wool.

We stopped at the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre in Judique for their famous lunch ceilidh. It did not disappoint! We had a front row table to enjoy the fantastic music as we dined on lobster. Attending a ceilidh was definitely on our “must do” list for our visit to Cape Breton.

We finally made it to Peggy’s Cove on this trip. While we were there a random bagpiper was standing on the coast playing. I recorded this from a distance so there are plenty of tourists wandering through the shot, but it doesn’t take away from the beauty of the scene too much.
