Cape Breton Dining

July - August 2019

When you travel to the Nova Scotia, there’s seafood everywhere you look. That stands to reason when you’re on an island in the North Atlantic. Luckily, we love seafood. What kind of seafood did we eat? Lobster and more lobster. We literally ate lobster every day of the 10-day trip. We had lobster tails, whole lobster, lobster rolls, lobster tacos and suddenly I sound like a Canadian Forrest Gump. On Cape Breton, we also had mussels and other fish, all of which was incredible. We also ate a good majority of our meals outside in the beautiful weather. Back in Halifax, we went to our favorite restaurant from our previous trip to the Maritimes. Of course, I also had to have another of my favorite Nova Scotian specialties, fried pepperoni.
