Cape Breton – Day 8

July - August 2019

We hopped off the Cabot Trail and onto the Ceilidh Trail. It took us to the Celtic Music Interpretive Center for a lunch Ceilidh. We noshed on lobster at our front row table as we enjoyed the live Celtic music. Shortly after the show, we crossed back over to mainland Nova Scotia and made the drive back down to Halifax. We've been to Halifax once before when we visited the Maritimes 3 years ago so we know our way around. We spent the evening walking the waterfront and marveling at the changes that have occurred there. We had dinner at Salty's, the restaurant that was our favorite on our first visit to Halifax. Of course, no visit to the Maritimes is complete without standing in line for a waffle cone of ice cream from Cows Creamery.
