Toronto & Southern Ontario – Day 6

July 2018

We got out early and took a boat tour of Toronto Harbor including going between some of the Toronto Islands. Once we got back to the city, we walked all along the waterfront before hopping on a streetcar to Union Station. We weren't traveling anywhere but we've visited several other Union Stations and it's fun to compare them. We walked to Berczy Park to see the very unique fountain of dogs (and one cat) on our way to Saint Lawrence Market. After a snack at St. Lawrence Market, we walked to Nathan Phillips Square to get a look at city hall, old city hall and the Toronto sign. We cooled off a bit inside the Eaton Centre and hung out in Yonge-Dundas Square before walking back to the hotel. By then we were pretty tired of walking. Luckily, we discovered there was a really good pizza place right on the backside side of the hotel's building. We had a relaxing late-night dinner there.
