We took a short overnight trip to Lancaster County, PA to do a little sightseeing and cash in on a coupon we had for dinner at one of the "smorgasbord" restaurants out there. It was a last-minute trip so the only Hilton property available was a Tru hotel. It was a different sort of hotel experience. I don't need luxury, but a closet, furniture or a carpet would have been nice. It was fine for one night though and we enjoyed Lancaster as we always do.

We've never stopped at Dutch Haven before. So, we're fixing that today.

Our room at Tru is a bit spartan.

The Willows covered bring is the first one I ever saw as a kid and it sparked my love of them.

In Tru's defense, they do have a cool mural and foosball tables in the lobby.

We saw no other guests in the hotel and that's ok with me!

We're supposed to store our luggage under the bed because there are no closets, luggage stands or furniture?

Dutch Wonderland was one of my favorite trips with my grandparents as a kid.

I'm not sure what this piano did to deserve this paint job.

Hello cows!
