Most of day 1 was spent driving. We stopped for lunch in the Scranton, PA area at an outpost of the Pittsburgh institution Primanti Brothers since we'd never been to one before. We arrived in Niagara Falls late in the day but still early enough to catch the falls at sunset. We then waited around for darkness to arrive and the illumination and fireworks to begin. We were already crossing things off our "to see" list!

I'm not a sports guy, but it was cool seeing Mike Schmidt over our table
