The Mount Washington Cog Railway is an engineering marvel. Much like the Pike’s Peak Cog Railway that we took a few years ago, this train climbs up the side of a mountain using a specially engineered track. The angle at which it climbs is steep enough that it is very hard to stand up along the way. The little biodiesel engines push a single car up to the summit. This video is of engine M4, Agiocochook, leaving the base station on its journey to the top.
