July 2018
We looked around Mississauga (Port Credit and downtown) before heading into Toronto to go to the top of the CN Tower while we waited for the appointed time of our tour of the Rogers Centre, home of the MLB's Blue Jays. It was a great tour with the unexpected surprise of getting to see the dome opening from inside in preparation for the Jays game against the Yankees! Later we drove north to Kincardine where we'll be tomorrow for a Scottish festival. On the way, I visited my first Canadian covered bridge. I didn't know there were any in Ontario.

We made a stop to check out the Port Credit Lighthouse

We followed directions and were very patient with the red-winged blackbirds

The Port Credit post office is a really cool old building

A telephone booth? In 2018? I can't believe they still exist anywhere.

We're at the Rogers Centre for a tour of the stadium

Of course there's a Tim's in the Rogers Centre. I'm sure it's just one of many. I wish it was open.

The fact that there's a Marriott hotel right in the stadium is very cool.

Our first Tim's stop of the trip was in Guelph

Tim's still had some Canada Day donuts left

My all-time favorite Tim's donut is their honey cruller
