Kentucky and Indiana Dining

March - April 2018

It’s tough to go the south and have anything but good food. On this trip we shared some meals with extended family, so that made it even better. We also celebrated Colonel Sanders by eating at the original KFC and his first restaurant, Claudia Sander’s Dinner House. Some other highlights were a meal at Maker’s Mark distillery, a restaurant in La Grange where freight trains pass 20 feet from the front door and a restaurant that’s typically only open to jockey’s and staff at Churchill Downs.
