August 2011
On our first full day in Montreal, we took a tour of the Olympic Stadium and rode to the top of the stadium's tower. We also visited the Biodome, which is actually the velodrome from the Olympics that they converted into an animal habitat representing the various regions of Canada. The rest of the day we walked around Old Montreal.
Montreal's Olympic Stadium was the site of the 1976 Summer Olympics
The Olympic Velodrome is now the Biodome. The flags out front represent the contries who won gold in the Montreal Olympics.
