I was lucky enough to be able to get away for a week and visit my cousin Ed and his wife Barbara in Florida. While there, we toured the Florida Panhandle and took a side trip to Biloxi, Mississippi with a stop in Mobile, Alabama. We took full advantage of the great seafood available in that part of the country. Cooked either at home or in restaurants, we ate grouper, catfish, cobia, shrimp, crawfish, alligator, slipper tail lobster and scallops plus more hush puppies than I've eaten before.
