December 2005
Winterthur was originally the home of Henry Francis DuPont. Situated in the Brandywine Valley just north of Wilmington, Delaware, it's a great place to spend a day any time of year. However, when Beth and I visited it was the Christmas season, which made it even better. A Christmas tour of the house and a walk through the huge naturalistic gardens in the crisp winter air made the day so much fun! We both were so in the Christmas spirit by the time we left.
