While I’m all for being sensitive or other country’s customs and laws, this is one of the more ridiculous things I’ve heard about lately. In Turkey, if you use the letter W or Q you are breaking the law and can be fined.

You’ve heard me mention Leo Laporte a bunch of times in my podcast and IPTV reviews, but what about the other host of The Screen Savers. Yes, I’m talking about that kilt-wearing, sledge hammer wielding guy from New Jersey, Patrick Norton!
ZDTV/TechTV might be gone, but Patrick is back and has Robert Heron, one of the TechTV Lab Rats with him as he hosts Digital Life TV. You’ll also see some other familiar faces on the show from time to time. It comes from Ziff-Davis, the company that created ZDTV! A new show is broadcast live every Tuesday night and the video is posted in various formats the next day or so.
Check it out right now at http://www.dl.tv.
CommandN is a show from Canada that’s hosted by Amber MacArthur and Mike Lazzazzera, both from Call For Help in G4TechTV Canada. They cover tech news and happenings as well as some tips and tricks. They publish a new show each week.

The first IPTV show that I watch is Systm. It stars Kevin Rose and Dan Huard. You might remember them from The Screen Savers on the old TechTV. You will notice that many of the shows on this list will feature old TechTV refugees just as my podcast list did. These folks have found a great home on the internet.
They show some really geeky topics that range from building equipment to making cables.
Check it out at www.systm.org.
Since my series of posts about the podcasts that I listen to was such a huge success (OK, so most likely, no one read them) I’ve decided to to do the same with the IPTV shows that I watch. For those who don’t know what IPTV is, it’s basically just TV shows that are produced for Internet distribution. They can be in a wide variety of formats including Quicktime, Windows Media, etc.
Some of the podcasts I listen to also produce a video version. I’ll list those even though I don’t usually download the video since it’s easier to listen to the audio in the car.
There’s nothing interesting for you to see in this post. Just move along and go about your normal business.
I’m just using it to claim my site on Technorati. It’s easier than going into my templates that I worked so hard to create to use their standard claim method.
So these two guys form a little company and call it Google. A few years later they buy themselves a personal jet. This might sound normal until you realize that the jet is a Boeing 767!
OK, it’s time for a little shameless self promotion. Now that the weather is changing (finally!) and people are spending more time indoors, I’ve started selling on eBay again. So, take a look at what I have for sale and feel free to bid.
Either click the button in the sidebar of every page on my site or go to http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/michaelgatti.
I won’t be buying this since I already have the regular DVD of this movie, but a new version of Office Space is being released, and yes, it comes with flair. (If you love this movie as much as you should, you know what that means.)
It even includes a red swingline stapler! (Something that costs you $18.99 alone on Amazon.
If you’re worried about looking wimpy because you’re wearing a band-aid, 3M has a new product for you. The Duct Tape Band-Aid! MacGyver would have loved this! See them here.
