What I Watch – Food Guru Moments

I love to cook, so this new video podacst is becoming one of my favorite short IPTV shows. It comes from an unlikely place. When you think of fine dining, Iowa is the first place that comes to mind, right? Ok, maybe not, but Peter Harman hosts Food Guru Moments and he is the owner and chef at Martini’s Grill in Burlington, Iowa. It’s a unique, fast-paced podcast that introduces one recipe per episode.

If I’m ever in Iowa (though I probably won’t be) I’d definately stop in and try his cooking!

What I Watch – MacBreak

OK, this is brand new. As new as it gets, actually. I haven’t even had time to watch the first episode yet, but I sure I’m going to like it so I’m including it here. It’s a production of the This Week in Tech (TWiT) folks with Amber MacArthur, Leo Laporte and others. In case you didn’t guess, it’s about Macintosh issues and news.

Their site is www.macbreak.com.
You can subscribe at http://www.macbreak.com/macbreak_rss.php.

Family Tree Site dusting itself off

I’ll warn you right up front that this isn’t a big update, but I just wanted to mention that I have finally began to work on picking up my family tree website up off the ground and dusting it off.

Sometimes in life a person tries to cause you grief and you let them discourage you. Other times a person tries to cause you grief and you turn that negative energy right around and turn it into creative energy.

That being said, a whole new family tree website is in its earliest stages of development. It’s not even in the form of HTML yet, but it’s basic brainstorming fills almost half of a notebook. I’ll keep you posted as progress continues.

I will make one promise though… it will be bigger and better than ever before.

What I Listen To/Watch Revisited

A while ago I wrote a series of posts about what podcasts I listen to and what IPTV shows I watch. A lot has changed since then so I’m posting a few more entries about the new ones I listen to. Also, IPTV shows have now become video podcasts, so that’s something new!

When this series is done, I’ll post a dump of all of my current subscriptions in iTunes, just in case anyone cares.
