Our 23rd floor room at theWit overlooked the State and Lake L station. This is compilation of a few time lapse videos of the many trains on the pink, green, brown, orange and purple lines coming and going day and night in any weather.
We were out walking through the city in this snow squall for quite a while before coming back to the room and watching it from inside where we could be dry and warm.
Quick video of a green line train coming in, stopping and departing the Randolph and Wabash L station. The iconic L trains are as much a part of Chicago’s downtown as the architecture.
