The primary destination of our trip to Western Maryland and West Virginia was Frostburg & Cumberland, Maryland. These two towns, while right near one another, are 1000 feet in elevation apart. We took the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad between the two towns. It was fun to get away to small town America for a few days. The only low point was when the maid at our hotel in Frostburg sliced our luggage open with a razor knife and stole everything. Otherwise, it was a great trip!
