In 1858, the first nearly complete dinosaur skeleton was discovered in nearby Haddonfield, New Jersey. The Hadrosaurus Foulkii find is memorialized with a small park at the discovery site and a statue on Haddonfield's "main street" Kings Highway.
This park commemorates the location where the Hadrosaurus was discovered.
The National Park Service has delcared the site a National Historic Landmark
